Photo Gallery: the Road to Phoenix

- The Prada art installation outside of Marfa, TX
Olivia loved this place. I was more into her skirt in the wind.
- iStock worthy?
- Welcome to the Desert
This was one of the oddest street signs I've ever seen, simply proclaiming the presence of desert.
- Ominously Short
Everything in this photo is perfectly Tristan, from the snubby tree to the mini stone abode, to the stormy wrath above ready to be unleashed.
- The Purple Lizard in Mesilla, NM
This was a punky little store with a young gothy woman who owned the place and was working when we visited. Eclectic in an outcast teenage girls room kind of way. It's really cool that a "business" can be something like this.
- Behind the Purple Lizard
Amazingly colored junk piled in an alley, Messilla NM
- Passing the Time
- The Busy Airlinist
- Luggage
Tristan sits on his bag waiting for his plane.
- Waiting for airplanes
This day in history, Tristan David would take his first flight on his own at 7 years old, from Phoenix to Pittsburgh.
- Phoenix, AZ by bus
Random photos of our travels from Marathon, TX to Phoenix, AZ where Tristan would take his first ever solo flight, at the ripe young age of 7.
