The Mule Mountains tower over this small RV park, which is nearly full, with maybe 30 RVs all parked wagon circle style, facing in at one another. Highway 80 divides the rest of Old Bisbee from the RV park, but it’s only a short walk from here to there, and this is the only park in the entire city of Bisbee that’s within walking distance to Old Bisbee, which is a place trapped in time, full of amazing places to eat, parks full of hippies selling beads or playing in drum circles, bars, antique stores and not a single chain in site.
The park itself is nothing to particularly write home about, and it’s location is by far it’s best aspect. Free WiFi, sometimes spotty, is supplied. A laundry room is available and exceptionally clean bathrooms and showers await you every morning. There is a campground host in lieu of your typical office, and other than that everything is quite basic. To the southeast the park overlooks the old copper mine, which as far as ex-strip mining sites go, is actually quite beautiful. We were lucky enough to get a spot with a picnic table, but only 3 or 4 have them: large, rustic looking things made from local rocks mortared together. There’s a community picnic table, complete with pavilion, near the main building, though.
Given the Queen Mine RV Park’s location and just how wonderful the town of Bisbee itself is, we would easily recommend this park to anyone looking to stay in the area.
We also have pictures of Bisbee, Arizona and the Queen Mine RV Park and a more detailed account of this wonderful little town.

I loved this little park. It’s really pretty and cozy with the RV’s parked in a teardrop shape. The views from our windows were fabulous when a giant mansion wasn’t parked next to us. It is really quiet at night though, and snug parking, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable about hanging out with friends outside the RV, but for me that was the only downside. The location couldn’t be better, perched atop a small mountain and such a short walk into town.
Oh I love Bisbee!!!!
