Tristan made himself a mock RAZR cell phone using paper, markers and staples, all part of the new art kit Olivia got him for Yule. The following is a conversation he just had on said phone:
Hey, I just wanted to talk to you.
pauses while the person on the other line speaks
I wanted to see if you wanted to meet up at the park tomorrow. If you did, that would be cool.
pauses
Okay. I’ll probably be there from 10 to 12. Well, I might be there at 1 if anyone shows up, but I definitely won’t be there before 10. So I’ll hope to see you there.
hangs up, takes another call
Hey, just calling you back. I won’t be off much, much longer. I just have a couple of meetings tomorrow and then I’ll be off for…maybe…a month and a half…so I’ll see you then. Okay, Happy New Year, bye.

Tristan always has been very intelligent, of course gramma’s and papa’s are partial. If we all could be children again!

That’s maybe the best part about having kids, aside from the part where you first make them of course, but being around little boys brings out the little boy in you!
